A family run business focussed on creating quality handcrafted Shepherd Huts
Warren founded Moorlands in 2017 from a home workshop, drawing on more than 20 years of experience in building and carpentry. The business has grown consistently and now operates from a purpose-designed workshop in Cheadle, Staffordshire, where Warren works alongside a team of skilled craftsmen and women.
Traditional shepherd’s huts were created by farmers using materials readily available around the farm, providing temporary shelter during lambing season. Moorlands has taken this rudimentary design and redesigned and reimagined what is possible, creating bespoke, high-end luxury accommodation.
We warmly welcome you to explore Moorlands and discover the story behind our work.
We had our Herdwick Shepherd hut delivered today and all I can say is WOW! We cannot believe the attention to detail and the support from Warren and the team at Moorlands was superb.
